Iain has 30 years’ experience in design, study management and construction of large civil infrastructure projects. He is highly experienced in managing major project developments and is expert at engagement with local governments and councils. Iain’s career has involved the direct management of studies for high-pressure gas pipelines, gas production and water treatment plants. Iain has been heavily involved in Australia’s Queensland CBM developments, managing projects for CBM clients and contractors that have covered well site design and construction as well as LPG/conventional gas plant design and installations.
In his recent role as project manager for a large diameter, long distance high-pressure gas pipeline, in addition to the technical study management role, Iain managed a team charged with the submission of Environmental Impact Statements and other associated statutory environmental permit applications, along with conducting cultural heritage surveys and formulating agreements with all local authorities and traditional owners.
